It has been a while since I posted anything here. School is kicking my trash leaving little time for much else. I persevere despite the hardship but I sure don't want to. I want nothing more than to provide for my family. I know that school is my best bet to do that and that is why I push on.
Respite comes from little blessings including my sweet wife and beautiful daughter. They are such a blessing to me. I love them so much. I also find relief in music as I have said before. Recently I have been listening to more hip hop. I really like Wiz Khalifa. Most of his songs are explicit but if you can find a clean version, I recommend it. He has good beat, clever lyrics, and has a great balance between chill and fun.
If you are looking for other good beats but toned out a tad, check out Matt Kearney's new album. I know what you are thinkin, "Isn't that the guy with the fedora?" Why yes it is, and he has some fun songs and fun dance beat that make you want to get up and get things done. The album to check out is Young Love.
Less beat and more soul...if that is what you want I suggest listening to Agnes Obel. She is great for those chill days when the rain is coming down outside.
